Delkor Batteries says its world-renowned quality and reliability has been affirmed recently as it won its 13th consecutive Korean Standard – Quality Excellence Index award, the top award for quality from the Korean Standards Associations.
Outperforming all competition in the automotive battery category, Delkor Batteries was awarded number one for highest performance, durability and consistent quality rating.
In addition to its outstanding quality, Delkor Batteries says it is globally recognised for technology innovation, with its batteries “remaining at the forefront of battery technology for decades.”
Delkor batteries are built with patented PowerFrame technology and are said to offer up to 66 percent more durability and more corrosion resistance than traditional grids. They are also reported to feature superior cranking power and up to 70 percent better electrical flow while being manufactured using 20 percent less energy.
R&J Batteries is the sole distributor of Delkor Batteries throughout Australia and New Zealand. Proudly supplying Delkor batteries for the past 20 years, R&J Batteries says the two companies work together to understand market dynamics, consumer demands and technology needs to find power solutions for vehicles across Australia and New Zealand, including passenger vehicles, heavy and light trucks, utility vehicles, motorcycles, golf carts, lawn, garden and marine applications.
R&J Batteries says it is proudly the largest independently and wholly Australian owned battery importer and distributor across Australia and New Zealand and has been at the forefront of battery technology for almost 25 years.
Since 2014 Delkor has been a part of Johnson Controls Power Solutions which claims to be the world’s largest manufacturer of automotive batteries. Earlier this year, Johnson Controls Power Solutions became Clarios, a new company in its own right. With more than 16,000 employees, 56 facilities worldwide and 130 years of expertise, Clarios remains a world leader in energy storage solutions and says it is still dedicated to providing the Australian market with advanced battery technology.
Power Solutions separates from Johnson Controls International, LLC. to become its own entity, Clarios.
